The eyes of the children glistened in the night but from fright.
Because they were stashed away in freight and in crates.
Waiting to be sold for labor or sex. Or waiting to die, they don’t know what’s next.
Hush little baby, don’t say a word.
Or that man will take you out the herd.
And you will be attacked until you weep.
Or until you will not exist to speak.
The situation makes them wonder why they are alive. Death is the only place for them to hide.
Nothing is worst than being taken against your will. At least, until the vehicle taking you becomes still.
The innocence of children is often abused. The morality of the soul is often unused.
Taking advantage of the young to make a profit. We need to find a way to stop it.
